Jirametrics version 2.0 has been released. What is it? A tool for extracting metrics, and generating reports from Jira.
For examples of the kinds of charts you can get, see the documentation
What’s changed?
The tool has been careful not remove any old functionality that might have been in use and that’s resulted in a lot of deprecated warnings and redundant code left in place. There were places where functionality that had been deprecated well over two years ago was still supported and that just added unneeded complexity. It was time to clean all of that up.
If you’ve been fixing deprecated warnings as you go, or didn’t see any of these warnings, then nothing will change for you. All the existing functionality is still there.
If you do see deprecated warnings when you run the tool then you’ll want to change your configuration to fix those before upgrading to 2.0. Each warning tells you what you need to do to fix it.
See the full change log for details.
